According to Leicester Live, the new strip is the fifth to be made by adidas for the club, and its design is inspired by the shirts worn by the 1970s Jimmy Bloomfield team.

Dutch giants Ajax also recently launched their new red and white home attire, which includes a royal gold trim for added detail around the collar and the club's badge.

With Portuguese outfit FC Porto having released their home kit for next season a few weeks ago, they have now followed that up with the unveiling of both their away and third playing strips.

All of their new kits feature a new sponsor on the front of the shirt for the first time in 11 years, with Meo being replaced by Betano as the team's main kit endorser.
