PSL ballers new favourite brand

Star Style

The G-Star RAW brand is quickly becoming a favourite among the DStv Premiership stars and here are a few players who recently got themselves some new drip from the luxury clothing label.

What Happened?

While the biggest brands such as Balenciaga, Gucci and Versace continue to be worn by Mzansi highest-paid players, G-Star RAW is growing and appears to start giving the big boys a run for their money with their fashionwear seemingly impressing.

In recent times, many South African ballers decided to get themselves some new drip from the Dutch designer clothing company.

SuperSport United’s Ronwen Williams is one of the players as he copped himself a new tee, valued at R600, to go with his summer style. As a player who is not very active on social media, this was one of the few times we got to take a sneak peek into the shot-stopper's choice of drip.

Taariq Fielies has been nothing short of a stylish figure and off the field he shows consistency as he impresses with stylish wear from the European brand.

Elsewhere, the Mamelodi Sundowns duo of Grant Margeman and Lyle Lakay are big fans of the G-Star RAW label. The dynamic pair have a choice to buy almost any brand but consistently prefer the dazzling but laidback look that the fashionwear produces.

G-Star was originally named Gap Star but decided to change its name when going international to avoid confusion with the already established Gap, according to Wikipedia.
