Known for pulling the strings from midfield, Orlando Pirates star Thabang Monare has been seen trying something new which also involves dictating the rhythm of play.
While Monare has expressed interest in fashion, he now has taken some people by surprise of late as some of the things he is into are not as most would predict, and here's why:

Who would have thought?
Stereotypically, there are things you would expect from footballers. Stuff like fancy cars and designer clothes. Indeed Monare has these, but the 32-year-old has shifted away from what is conventionally known about ballers, as he is a man who reads books and now appears to play the piano as well.
Known to be a complicated instrument to play, many will most likely expect The Sea Robbers star to have fingers that are as nifty as his feet. However, we cannot confirm whether or not Monare has been taking classes or the picture was simply a spur of the moment kind of thing.
Nevertheless, there is something appealing about a footballer being well-versed beyond his soccer career. We imagine that some of his fans will be pleased to find out that the Mpumalanga-born star is a jack of many trades.
Did you know?
According to Pirates' official website, one of Monare's biggest footballing inspirations is former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder and ex-Cameroon star Roger Feutmba.
Your thoughts, please?
