EPL star breaks barriers with photoshoot

An English Premier League star has broken boundaries after his latest outfit on a magazine cover.

Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin recently posted a picture of himself in a skirt for a magazine front page.

The England centre-forward is said to be wearing a Prada outfit consisting of a black blazer, white polka-dot shirt, a black tie, and a black formal skirt.

What also appears to be quite remarkable is that the Arena Homme Plus magazine is a fashion publication for men and it is only released twice a year.

Calvert-Lewin has seemingly also built himself a competitive modeling career, because upon further research, it shows that the 24-year-old talisman has done modeling work for reputable fashion blog Highsnobiety and British magazine The Face, among more.

This breaking of stereotypes by Toffees stars has come to be expected in other industries including arts, music, television, and entertainment, but not as anticipated in football.

His cover magazine hallmarks a moment in football where certain societal and social issues can be confronted through the sport, which is often accused of disregarding social issues.

Did you know?

As it stands, South African legend Steven Pienaar has made far more Premier League appearances for Everton than Calvert-Lewin, with 'Skilo' having played 214 games compared to the striker’s 150.

Your thoughts, please?
