Cristiano Ronaldo has been on the receiving end from current and former teammates after a rare fashion mishap on social media.
Ronaldo, 35, is usually known for his glamorous lifestyle and incredible modern fashion statements as a global icon that founded his own underwear and cologne line within his CR7 brand.
However, in an isolated incident, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has become the centre of ridicule on Instagram as he looked to celebrate Juventus' lead at the summit of Serie A.
Fresh after scoring and grabbing two assists in the 4-0 victory over Leece, Ronaldo posted an image in a colourful summer-themed outfit decorated by abstract flowers captioned; "starting the weekend with a good vibe and a good style."
And this didn't go down well with his close friends who proceeded to hurl insults at the Portugal captain, starting with Leonardo Bonucci.
The Italy centre-back posted several face-palm emoji's stating his style is 'unbelievable', while his former centre-back partner Mehdi Benatia chimed in; "Come on bro, good style I don't know!".
Juan Cuadrado also suggested it's only fit for 'strolling on beaches' and not in public but the post still managed to be liked by over 11-million people.
While several people may continue the debate, Ronaldo remains the king of the social media photo application and continues to take in record sums of revenue from it.
