The Cape Town-born star has had a quick rise into the South African topflight as he only made his then-ABSA Premiership debut for Supersport in the 2018/19 season.

It appears that of his Matsantsatsa teammates, Sipho Mbule is one of those he is closest with as he has posted a couple of snaps alongside the playmaker.

Fleurs was also a part of the South African under-23 team that competed at the Tokyo Olympic Games this year, and he was featured in all three matches against Japan, France, and Mexico.

According to Ubuntu Football Academy’s official website, Fleurs is the first player from their football academy to join South Africa’s Premier Soccer League., and he has been in the Ubuntu family since he was just 12-years-old.

Supersport and Bafana teammate Jesse Donn was is also a graduate of the same academy, and coincidently, the two youngsters were both called up to the senior side for the first time in this round of World Cup qualifiers.
