A closer look at Bucs' new signing Sibisi

Star Style

With his abilities on the pitch already proven, there could be no better time than now to look at what Orlando Pirates' new signing Nkosinathi Sibisi's life away from the field entails. Here's more!

The story

On Monday, the Bucs confirmed that they had acquired the services of the Golden Arrows star ahead of next season. The news was welcomed by many of the club's supporters, prompting a closer look at the incoming defender.

Minimalistic and effortless

It is quite apparent that the defender is not the flashy type as he seemingly enjoys a modest lifestyle. Perhaps that's what one could expect from a ball-playing centre-back who draws a lot of motivation from literature as he always quotes some words of wisdom from authors.

This might signal the amount of drive that the 26-year-old has and Bucs supporters will be delighted to know that they've got their hands on a relatively young but wise talent at the heart of their defence.

In 2021, the Lamontville outfit handed Sibisi an honourary jersey for reaching 100 appearances for the club - highlighting just how proficient the player has been for Abafana Besithende!

Did you know?

Nicknamed Bhodlela, the Buccanneers' new recruit made 113 league appearances for Arrows and played 44 times for the Diski side.

Your thoughts, please?

Between Ntsikelelo Nyauza, Happy Jele, and Olisa Ndah, who would you pair Sibisi with at centre-back?
