Samuel Eto'o has landed a new role in Senegal after being appointed as an ambassador for Dakar-based company Bag'O.
Cameroon legend Eto'o was in Dakar, Senegal on Wednesday for the launch of the local start-up company Bag'O, for whom he has been appointed as a global ambassador, according to Africa Top Sports.
The 39-year-old's position with the air transport company comes just days after he was recognised as an ambassador for the country of Chad, which adds to his ever-expanding portfolio of roles he has held since retiring from football last year.
Eto'o, whose playing career saw him turn out for the likes of FC Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea, among other clubs, also currently holds ambassadorial roles for LaLiga and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The four-time African Footballer of the Year was also appointed as one of two Special Advisors to CAF President Ahmad Ahmad last year, alongside Ivory Coast legend Didier Drogba.
