Having already won the FIFA World Cup with France in 2018, Mbappe is firmly on course to earn legendary status in the game and it comes as no surprise to see him awarded the honour for the popular gaming series.
Having won the Ligue 1 title in the breakout season with AS Monaco, he's added three more with PSG since his staggering €180-million transfer from their domestic rivals.
"Being on the cover of FIFA is a dream come true," Mbappe told the EA Sports website. "From my time at Bondy to Clairefontaine to the World Cup, this marks another big milestone.
"I've been playing this game since I was a kid and I am honoured to represent a whole new generation of footballers and be in the same group as many other amazing footballers who I now share this honour with."
The prolific forward whose been strongly linked with Real Madrid and Liverpool in recent months cleared the air on his future this week by stating he will remain with PSG next season.
