Orlando Pirates legend Lucky Lekgwathi says he is overwhelmed by the demand for his clothing label Fantastic 14.

The former Buccaneers skipper talks about how he came up with the name for his business, which is growing much quicker than the ex-defender thought.

"You know even now it's been four years since I retired but the fans, no matter if they are Chiefs, Sundowns they call me Captain Fantastic you understand," Lekgwathi explains to KickOff.com.

"And when they speak of Captain Fantastic, I'm being reminded of the Fantastic Four [movie], so I took the name from there. But for me I was like Captain Fantastic 14...

"That number 14 has made history because, you know, if you count the letters in the name Lucky Lekgwathi they are 14, and 14 seasons at Pirates, 14 caps for Bafana Bafana, jersey number 14.

"So that's why I was like you know what, Captain Fantastic number 14, so that's why it is called Fantastic 14.

"I started with two vests at the gym and the ladies asked me, 'Lucky, please organise for abo cherrie'... imagine, even white people!

"Now we have t-shirts, golf shirts, caps. Before the Covid we had a tournament in Polokwane for legends teams, we were going to launch the F14 jersey in Polokwane.

"If there are teams who want to wear it, we will make sure we sell it to them. You can get F14 on www.diskisports.co.za."
