Chiefs' cosy get-together for Ngezana

Fame & Fortune

A number of Kaizer Chiefs stars, including Khama Billiat and Itumeleng Khune, came together to celebrate teammate Siyabonga Ngezana's 25th birthday over the weekend. Have a look!

The story

Having turned a year older on Friday, the Amakhosi centre-back seemingly invited five of his colleagues from Naturena to what could be called a star-studded celebration.

Midfielders Sabelo Radebe and Happy Mashiane were present, while Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma was also among those in attendance.

An intimate vibe

Perhaps surprisingly, it appears the occasion was held at Billiat's house instead of the birthday boy's own place. In images posted on Instagram, the group can be seen relaxing poolside, with Ngezana carrying his own cake.

By the looks of things, the players opted for something small and intimate as there were no signs of excessive celebrations. In fact, on the table, a bluetooth speaker can be seen, while there weren't any refreshments spotted, although we imagine there were somewhere else at the venue.

Did you know?

Nicknamed "Magwegwe", Sebokeng-born Ngezana's all-time favourite footballer is Paris Saint-Germain veteran Sergio Ramos, while his best dish is Amasi, according to Kaizerchiefs.com.

Your thoughts, please?

Having struggled for minutes last season under previous coach Stuart Baxter, do you think Ngezana will receive more game time under new boss Arthur Zwane, who relied on him a lot in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge prior to his first team-debut in 2016?
