The PSL fraternity has come out in support of Orlando Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza and his family following the loss of his second wife.
The Khoza family is in mourning following the passing of Mme Matina Elsie Khoza on Thursday morning after a lengthy battle with illness, according to a Pirates statement.
This is the PSL chairman's second loss in the space of just over six months, following the death of Ausi Yvonne Mantwa Kgotleng-Khoza in January.
Mme Matina, 69, was the mother of four children, including Pirates marketing manager Nkosana Khoza, making it an even bigger loss for the club.
The local football fraternity have thus shared support for their colleagues in a show of solidarity, with some clubs and individuals expressing their condolences.
While rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns were silent on Thursday, coach Pitso Mosimane took to his personal account to send a message to the Khoza family.
