With all the uncertainty around Kylian Mbappe's future at Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid still coveting his signature, a new development has now reportedly emerged.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has been linked with a move to Los Blancos for a few years now, in what has become a transfer saga, but it is suggested that work is now taking place in the background for a potential move to Madrid to finally take place.

According to Spanish journalist Edu Aguirre, Mbappe has now "reserved" a house in the Spanish capital.
"Mbappe has a house in Madrid," Aguirre told El Chiringuito.
"It has not yet been purchased. It is reserved. He may come to Madrid, he may not come to Madrid, but he has the house.
"It's a house of a football player that Mbappe knows very well. In a very well-known area in Madrid.
"I cannot give the name."
The France international is appears to be likely to leave PSG as a free agent at the end of this season after refusing to sign a contract extension that would have bound him to the Parisian side until 2025.
Real, meanwhile, now only have to wait until January until they can formally initiate pre-contract talks with the player.

After being excluded from pre-season preparations following a fallout over the abovementioned extension, the Frenchman made a return to the side soon after the campaign kicked off and has once again proved an instrumental member of the squad, scoring eight goals in nine appearances across all competitions since.
