A certain Manchester United star is reportedly being lined up for a surprise exit in January after a slow start to the season.
Defender Raphael Varane has found himself on the bench in recent games despite being fully fit, with Erik ten Hag going for Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans in the win over Fulham.

According to TEAMtalk, the World Cup winner could depart the club when the January transfer window opens.
Varane has been key figure for Ten Hag since last year but there has been no explanation as to why he finds himself on the bench lately.
The report adds that Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr are also interested in the 30-year-old defender, although he would be willing to listen to offers from all over Europe.
Should the former France international leave in the January transfer window, the Red Devils could make a move for Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba while OGC Nice's Jean-Clair Todibo is also among the targets.
Varane joined Red Devils from Los Blancos in 2021 and has gone on to make 72 appearances while also winning the Carabao Cup.
