Messi has opened up about when he could potentially retire from football.
By his own admission, the Argentine superstar has accomplished everything in the sport, most notably the 2022 FIFA World Cup with his country.
The 36-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Inter Miami and is set to be officially unveiled on 16 July, alongside fellow new signings Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, according to CBS Sports.

However, given his age and the fact that he has won every available trophy to him, there have been some questions over when the FC Barcelona legend plans to retire from football.
In an interview with TV Publica, Messi said, "I don't even know until when. I think it will happen when it has to.
"After accomplishing everything in this last period, the only thing that's left is to enjoy. God will decide when it's the right moment.
"Logically and due to my age, it's not too far away, but I don't know exactly when. When I retire, I will value all of this (what he accomplished) much more."
Touching on his move to Major League Soccer, the Argentine said, "We are happy about the decision we made and we are ready.
"We have a lot of desire to take on a new challenge, a new change. Going to play in the United States doesn't change my mentality... I'm going to give my best for me, for my club and perform at my maximum."
