Kylian Mbappe's representatives reportedly met with a Premier League team before he informed the club he wanted to leave.

News broke on Thursday night that Mbappe had informed PSG he will not be extending his contract at the end of the season and will leave on a free transfer.

The World Cup winner has been heavily linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid ahead of next season.

However, there seems to be another interested part as the player's representatives met with Manchester City earlier this week, according to Spanish radio network Cadena SER.

Liverpool were the only English side reported to be interested in Mbappe in last few years, but the player seems destined to end up in the Spanish capital next season.

While Los Blancos look the likely destination, the report adds that Mbappe has three principle representatives that are making moves for him, with one of them recently meeting the European champions.

Meanwhile, Real manager Carlo Ancelotti did not seem to bothered about the reports about the French striker leaving PSG.

"I see and hear everything but nothing else. I understand that it’s the topic of the day for you but not for us. We have prepared for tomorrow’s game and that’s what we have talked about, not about anything else. I’d like to work on this season, there’s a long time to go before next season," Ancelotti said, as per Goal.

"If I’m worried about Mbappe, do you see me worried?" he asked. "I think it’s going to be the same for the next few press conferences, I’m not worried."
