Kylian Mbappe reportedly wants two particular guarantees from his next club as speculation around his future continues.

The French superstar continues to be the protagonist in a transfer saga involving himself, his current club Paris Saint-Germain and reported suitors Real Madrid.

With his contract set to expire at the end of this campaign, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is believed to have rejected the Parisians' attempts to get him to sign an extension, with the player even reportedly foregoing a loyalty bonus of £87 million (R1.9 billion).

If things stay the way they are, Los Blancos will be free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with Mbappe when January comes around, with Liverpool among other a few other teams also said to be interested in the forward.

However, according to Defensa Central, Mbappe has two demands that his next club must agree to if he is to join them.

The first condition he is believed to have set is the assurance that he will be able to represent France at the 2024 Olympic Games, which is set to begin in in his hometown, Paris, just 12 days after the 2024 UEFA European Championship ends.

The reason he would require such a guarantee is because a footballer's club has to give the green light for a player to represent his country at an Olympic event as its dates are not in accordance with the dates for international fixtures recognised by FIFA.

It is said the 24-year-old does not want to miss out on the opportunity to pick up a gold medal in his home city.

Mbappe's second demand is reportedly a request that the finalisation of his move to his next team be delayed until March or April in order for him to make an unhasty decision on his future.

PSG, meanwhile, are said to be to have halted their efforts to convince the Les Bleus captain to extend his stay at the club by one season, and are now relying solely on the possibility of the player deciding to activate the extension clause in his contract.
