Report: Real Madrid to offer Eden Hazard in swap deal with Chelsea

Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing a major swap deal with European champions Chelsea as they look land of one the Blues' key stars.

El Nacional have reported that Los Blancos have taken an interest in Blues right-back Reece James, who has established himself as one of the premier full-backs in Europe.

The 22-year-old has registered an impressive four goals and five assists in 15 Premier League games for the Blues, who currently sit third in the standings.

Los Blancos are now looking to find cover for Dani Carvajal, with manager Carlo Ancelotti reportedly asking club president Florentino Perez to get the England international.

The Spanish publication has added that the Madrid outfit are willing to offer Eden Hazard in a swap deal, as the Belgian continues to struggle to make his mark in the Spanish capital.

Hazard joined Real from Chelsea in 2020 in a deal reportedly worth €115million, but has only racked up five goals and nine assists in 57 appearances.
