FC Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele has responded to the reports linking him with a move to Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

The French forward's future is up in the air once again as his current contract at the Camp Nou expires at the end of the 2023/2024 season.

Dembele has now rubbished the links with the French champions and says there has never been any connection with the club.

“I don’t know why there’s been so much talk about PSG," Dembele told Marca.

"It must be because I’m French, but there was and is nothing with PSG,” he told Marca.

“It’s going very well [contract renewal]. Barcelona want me to renew until 2027, my representative will talk to them. I am happy at the team, also at home, in Barcelona. We’ll see what happens.”

He continued, “Yes, this year, and last year too. Because I’ve been able to play a lot of games.

"Before it was more difficult because I suffered a lot of injuries. Now I’m happier because I’m playing a lot more. And I’m also happy with the team and with the people of Barcelona."
