Premier League giants Manchester City are facing a major development in the club's financial saga.
Premier League chief executive Richard Masters confirmed that a date has been set for a hearing after the Citizens were charged with 115 alleged breaches of the league's Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules in February 2023.
Man City, who were charged in February 2023, allegedly broke the rules over nine seasons between 2009 and 2018.

Everton are another EPL club that has fallen victim to the league's stern stance on the breaching of financial rules. After being charged, 10 points were deducted from their current campaign.
Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, are the latest side to have been charged for breaching FFP regulations and currently face a possible points deduction.
Some have questioned why the Toffees were punishment swiftly, in contrast to City who have yet to face any repercussion for their alleged breaches.
Masters, however, said that he understands the frustration some fans might have, adding that the situations are different.
"If any club, whether they are the current champions or otherwise, had been found in breach of the spending rules for year '23, they would be in exactly the same position as Everton or Nottingham Forest," he said per Sky Sports.
"The volume and character of the charges laid before Man City, which I cannot talk about at all, are being heard in a completely different environment.
"There is a date set for that proceeding. Unfortunately, I can't tell you when that is but that is progressing. I can't give any details on Man City beyond saying a date has been set, I can't tell you when that date is."

The Sky Blues are said to have broken FFP rules over a period of nine seasons, between 2009 and 2018, winning the league three times in the process. They are also alleged to have not properly co-operated with the league while investigations were taking place.
