South African coach Thabo Senong has returned home in time to reunite with his family for the Easter Holidays after being held up in Tanzania since last week.
Senong together with Biokineticist Kelvin Ndlomo have been held in Tanzania due to a delay in getting their flight tickets after parting ways with Singida Fountain Gate early this month.
Both the former Amajita coach and Ndlomo were brought to Tanzania by German coach Ernst Middendorp, who later resigned and returned to South Africa to join Cape Town Spurs.

Senong was later appointed as head coach at Singida Fountain Gate after the club fired Brazilian coach Ricardo Ferreira late last year.
According to an official at Singida Fountain Gate, both Senong and Ndlomo have returned to South Africa after the club offered them flight tickets.
“Everything has been sorted. They left Tanzanian and I believe they are already in South Africa,” said the official at Singida Fountain Gate.
“The coach is no longer with us. I cannot say anything more than that. He did well during his stay with the club and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” he added.
Sangida Fountain Gate has since appointed Jamhuri Kihweru Julio to replace Senong as head coach.
