It was yet another weekend of good fortunes for Siyabonga Ngezana as the former Kaizer Chiefs defender put in another fill shift for Romanian SuperLiga leaders FCSB.
Sunday’s 90 minutes in the 3-0 win away at Universitatea Craiova was the fifteenth league match that Ngezana has played from start to finish for the 1986 European champions.

Ngezana stood his ground partnering Cameroonian defender Joyskim Dawa.
With the win, FCSB have opened an 11-point lead at the top with seven games remaining in what could ultimately turn into a dream debut season for Ngezana in Europe.
The league title and ticket to the UEFA Champions League qualifiers are now in sight for the towering defender who never won any silverware in all the years he spent at Chiefs.
Thought the 26-year-old had a slow start at FCSB, he has since been able to play in 17 of the 22 league games that FCSB have played.
Ngezana has played 14 league games in a row putting him in good footing to be considered as one of the best performers this season at his club.
Those solid displays have prompted interest from French club Lorient.

After the seven games remaining, the season will enter the championship play-offs with FCSB already just about guaranteed of their place as one of the top six teams in the regular season.
In the championship play-offs, the points accumulated from the regular season are halved and the six teams then play against each other twice to determine the league winners who then qualify for the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds.
