Njabulo Blom made a bright start to Major League Soccer with a debut win as St. Louis City defeated Austin on Sunday.
City recorded their first-ever victory in the MLS with a 3-2 win over Austin thanks to goals from Tim Parker, Jared Stroud and Joao Klauss de Mello.
On the day, former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Blom, who completed a move to the US in December and began training with the MLS outfit, was brought on just 17 minutes into the game for his official league debut.

Blom made his unofficial debut for Lois City when he came on as a late substitute during The St. Louligans' 4-1 defeat to LA Galaxy at the start of February.
He featured twice more as a substitute during pre-season friendlies against Vancouver and New York City, behind getting his first start against Atlanta United.
