Ndlovu recalls 'very painful' Chiefs defeat

SuperSport United midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu says his side will have to be cautious when they meet a dangerous at Kaizer Chiefs, recalling a 'painful' 2-1 loss to Amakhosi in September.

Matsatsantsa sit in third place on the DStv Premiership table and will come up against a Kaizer Chiefs side as equally motivated to secure continental football when the two teams on Saturday at Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

"Every game you want to win and you'd like to get maximum points in every game so yes, we are looking at making sure that we are fighting until the end," Ndlovu told KickOff.

SuperSport fell 2-1 to Chiefs when the two teams met in the first-round o rh Premiership campaign at FNB Stadium. For Ndlovu, the loss hit a bit harder than others.

"So yes, we look at it in that way, that we want to fight until the end and make sure that we come out the end victorious.

"But we will be cautious because they have a very dangerous team, they have got people who can strike goals. They have got people who can defend very well, people who can break the lines. So all those things are there, we need to be cautious while we try to get maximum points."

A defeat for either side could spell the end of any ambitions of a CAF Champions League or CAF Confederations spot.
