Orlando Pirates target Shaun Mogaila has reportedly parted ways with Royal AM, as head coach John Maduka explained his absence against Kaizer Chiefs.
Thwihli Thwahla were without Mogaila in their squad that welcomed Chiefs at Harry Gwala Stadium on Sunday, following reports that the former Highlands Park speedy attacker was not training with the senior team since the club resumed after the Africa Cup of Nations break.
The 28-year-old is believed to have been training with the Diski Challenge squad as he had a deadlock with the management over the renewal of his contract which expires in June.

Maduka was asked about Mogaila's absence in a post-match press conference following their goalless draw against Amakhosi and he admitted that the speedy winger was not injured and suggested that he has issues with the club which will be announced by the management.
"Shaun is not injured, let's say the management will update the media (on) what's happening between him and the club and we'll take it from there," Maduka told journalists after the stalemate with the Glamour Boys.
Mogaila, reported to have parted ways with the KwaZulu-Natal side, was linked with a move to Pirates for the past few transfer windows but the Buccaneers could not strike a deal with Royal AM.

It remains to be seen if the Soweto giants will renew their interest in the 28-year-old, as AmaZulu and Sekhukhune United are reportedly interested in his services.
Thwihli Thwahla have been banned by FIFA twice this season after their much publicized contract saga with Samir Nurkovic, who is demanding an alleged R12 million for breach of contract and won his case (which Royal AM are still appealing).
