Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has spoken for the first time on being voted by fans to coach the All-Star XI that will take on Carling Knockout winners Stellenbosch.
Although the Spaniard’s arrival on South Africa shores was met with a mixed reception, Riveiro has seemingly climbed his way into being a fan favourite, in addition to three trophies secured for Orlando Pirates.

The 46-year-old received the most votes among PSL coaches to lead the star-studded team selected by fans set to battle it out at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Speaking to media ahead of the match, Riveiro opened up on the experience.
"Firstly thank you to the fans for bringing me here," Riveiro said.
"It is a responsibility to try to do things as good as possible in a professional way.
"It’s an opportunity for a different atmosphere, different environment, different players as well that are used to being on the other side of the field.
"So yes, I’m really happy and trying to learn as much as possible from this experience and from these players, that will help me in future as a coach.
"(With regards to training) Lot of quality, experience and the players look motivated, we know the difficulty of the task."

The star-studded list of players includes the likes of Thembinkosi Lorch, Itumeleng Khune, Mduduzi Shabalala and Njabulo Ngcobo.
"I think the most important, especially for the players to play their best football. The fans want to be entertained and want to see players in their best form."
"That’s our responsibility as coaches, to help them to look (have the best preparation) as possible."
The match will kick-off at 15:00.
