Ivorian defender Ismael Olivier Toure looks set to remain in the DStv Premiership, following the relegation of Marumo Gallants.

Toure joined Marumo at the beginning of the 2022/23 season from ASEC Mimosas and was solid at centre-back in the 29 appearances that he made in all competitions.

The performances that he put in for Marumo attracted enquiries from Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United and Stellenbosch.

However, it is understood that Stellies were the quickest in looking to table an offer, with insiders revealing to KickOff that the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finalists are believed to have agreed a deal in principle for the player.

Toure still had another year on his contract with his Marumo.

Stellies have also confirmed that Reid Bombay, Keegan Pool, Solomon Letsoenyo, Solly Khunyedi, Lance Weaver, and Glen Hahn have all parted ways with the club.
