Young Africans head coach Miguel Gamondi has highlighted the big difference between his squad and Mamelodi Sundowns, which is 18 times more valuable in market value.

The Brazilians will restart their campaign on Saturday evening after travelling to Tanzania to take on Young Africans in the CAF Champions League quarter-final first-leg.

In spite of the attacking strength possessed by the African Football League champions, Gamondi, a former Sundowns coach, says they will not change their style of play and will play on the front foot.

"We will not change our style of play, we will retain our same philosophy of spreading clean football, attacking and squandering together and not moving for fear of the opponent," Gamondi told Tanzanian publication ipp media.

"We have to play our accustomed football we shouldn't be afraid of Mamelodi Sundowns, if you move your philosophy you will be done yourself, I don't want to do that, my philosophy is to play a good game to own and try to create chances, we respect our opponent because they have good and valuable players, this is football if you prepare well you get results," he said.

"We have this ambition of being top five in Africa, you must compete and, for us, we will be at our best to know which is our level."

Gamondi in a separate report by the same publication, said that the Tshwane giants should be in the final given the resources that they have compared to Yanga.

"Sundowns like Al Al Ahly must be in the finals because they are the biggest teams. If you compare the budget of Sundowns to ours, definitely they must be favourites," he said.

"Last time they bought one player from Argentina I think for $4m and we brought Guede and Okra for free in the last transfer window," he added.

According to Transfermarkt, the total market value of the Sundowns squad (addition of each player's market value) is €33,15 (+- R678 million) while the Yanga squad is valued at  €1,85 million (+-R38 million), (addition of each player's market value).
