Gauteng SAPS Spokesperson Lt Col Mavela Masondo has confirmed that no arrests have been made yet related to the murder of the man who was still waiting to make his Amakhosi debut having joined the club from SuperSport United in October last year.

“No arrests have been made so far. We are following a lead, but we don’t want to give much information that can alert the suspects,” Masondo tells KickOff.

Furthermore, word reaching this publication is that Gauteng Police Commissioner Lt-Gen Tommy Mthombeni has already appointed a team of high-profile detectives in search of the suspects involved in the murder of the young footballer.
