Kaizer Chiefs defender Zitha Kwinka has revealed that the club still faces a waiting game to determine whether or not striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana will be available for the weekend's Soweto derby.
Chiefs are sweating the fitness of leading goalscorer Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana after the Burundi international was prematurely substituted during last weekend's MTN8 semi-final clash against AmaZulu.
Bimenyimana had missed the previous match against TS Galaxy with a thigh injury and looked to be in discomfort prior to his withdrawal against AmaZulu, sparking fears about his availability for Saturday's Soweto derby clash against Orlando Pirates.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Amakhosi defender Zitha Kwinika revealed that he was unsure of the 24-year-old's condition and that the club' medical team were still assessing his availability.

"That I don't know. I think the medical team is busy doing that. For now, we have been busy doing regeneration for the last two days so it's just tennis and what-not, so maybe after that we will know more about Caleb not being available," Kwinika told the media.
Head coach Arthur Zwane also revealed that he would be provided with a medical report on Friday leaving Chiefs in a race against time to have their star striker fit for the showpiece encounter.
Bimenyimana is currently the joint-leading goalscorer in the DStv Premiership this season with six goals in six league appearances, level with Mamelodi Sundowns' Peter Shalulile and SuperSport United veteran Bradley Grobler.
