Kaizer Chiefs star midfielder Edson Castillo will spend the latest FIFA calendar week rubbing shoulders against top opposition after yet another cross-Atlantic flight.
Castillo is in the Venezuelan squad due to play Italy on March 21 and Guatemala three days later in international friendly matches.

The two games will be played in the USA with the Chiefs man having already travelled.
Venezuela coach Fernando Batista has kept faith in the bulky player by calling him up after rewarding him with caps late last year.
Since moving to Naturena at the beginning of the season, Castillo has been in encouraging form for a midfielder in his first season in the PSL.
The 29-year-old was called up in October as replacement for Jesus Bueno for games against Brazil and Chile but didn’t get any minutes.
Then, for the last international break during which La Vinotinto had games against Ecuador and Peru, the amakhosi star was included again and got two caps.

Azzurri coach Luciano Spalletti’s squad is led by Gianluigi Donnarumma of PSG and has Jorginho (Arsenal), along with players from Inter Milan, Juventus, Napoli, and Roma, amongst other Italian clubs.
Castillo has followed in the footsteps of Jose Torrealba in earning national team call-ups while on the books of Chiefs.
