Tuesday evening will start giving answers to what Cavin Johnson has been doing at Kaizer Chiefs during the long AFCON break that has turned into a mini pre-season camp.
Chiefs have had no player at the AFCON finals in the Bafana Bafana squad – which is reflective of how much their fortunes have faded on the field of play with the clock now just three months away from hitting nine years since they last won a trophy.

Their biggest rivals Mamelodi Sundowns have 10 players in the Bafana squad while Orlando Pirates have four.
The only player who travelled to Cote d’Ivoire from Chiefs was Edmilson Dove and he was a bundle of nerves and was eventually dropped to the bench as Mozambique got stuck in the group stages.
With Mozambique have last played on January 22, Dove has since returned.
This means it has been a full house at Chiefs for Johnson as he maps the way for the remainder of the season.
Whatever work Johnson has put in behind the scenes since December 30 when Chiefs played Sekhukhune United will come under public scrutiny with effect from Tuesday when they play TS Galaxy at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Johnson has revived Chiefs since taking over as caretaker boss with Amakhosi collecting 13 points from 21 and the rest of the campaign will determine whether he thrives or shrinks.
However, the honeymoon phase of Johnson’s reign is over now with games against TS Galaxy on Tuesday and then Royal AM the following Sunday.

From there they face another troubled club Moroka Swallows before games against Golden Arrows, Orlando Pirates, Cape Town City, Stellenbosch, Chippa United, Richards Bay, SuperSport United, Mamelodi Sundowns, AmaZulu, Polokwane City, and Cape Town Spurs.
Chiefs will also come up against Motsepe Foundation Championship club Milford in the last 32 of the Nedbank Cup during the week running from February 20-24.
