Kaizer Chiefs promise more attacking signings before 2021/22 season - PSL transfer news

accreditation

Kaizer Chiefs will make more signings before the start of the new season, Head of Technical Molefi Ntseki has confirmed.

Chiefs announced the arrival of six new players and the return of academy graduate Given Thibedi who spent the last two seasons on loan at Swallows.

In what marked the first players to join the club since the end of their two-window FIFA transfer ban, the club is aiming to further bolster the attacking department.

With 34 goals in 30 games in the league last season, Amakhosi will be aiming to secure new talent to fire them higher than the eighth-placed finish of the 2020/21 campaign.

"We are happy that we have been able to reinforce our goalkeeping department, defence and midfield," Ntseki said.

"We still need to work on adding firepower upfront to ensure that we have enough personnel in all departments."

Amakhosi were said to have agreed a deal in principle for Bafana Bafana forward Ruzaigh Gamildien earlier this year but opted out of completing the deal for the 32-year-old.
