Lesotho Mounted Police Services are ready to release goalkeeper Sekhoane Moerane to a team in South Africa but on condition that they receive a good offer.

Moerane has attracted interest from Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, and SuperSport United, after his good showing during the World Cup qualifier games against Nigeria and Benin recently. The 26-year-old keeper was also named goalkeeper of the tournament during the Cosafa Cup Tournament held in Durban this year.

LMPS FC vice president Ezekiel Senti says will be happy to see goalkeeper Sekhoane Moerane move to PSL and compete in one of the big leagues in Africa.

“We have not received anything officially at the moment. We only see the stories in the social media,” Senti tells Kick Off.

“He is a very good boy and quality goalkeeper. Our wish is to see him take his football to another level. He is too good to keep him in the team for a very long time. We are ready to listen to any offer as long as the team and the player are happy. We certainly want to see him playing in South Africa as it is one of the top leagues in Africa,” he added.

Moerane is currently the reigning Footballer of the Season in Lesotho.
