Swallows 2-0 Marumo Gallants

Marumo Gallants were relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship following a 2-0 loss against Swallows at Dobsonville Stadium.

Lindokuhle Mtshali broke the deadlock for Swallows on the stroke of half-time and Mtshali doubled the lead for the Birds nine minutes before time and completed his brace.

Gallants dropped down to the bottom of the table and were relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

A victory for Swallows, meanwhile, earned them a spot in the top eight, as they finished in eighth spot on the log.

Chippa United 0-0 Golden Arrows

Chippa United survived relegation by the skin of their teeth after a goalless draw against Golden Arrows at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

A physical and nervy encounter did not produce clear-cut chances as a point earned Chippa a spot in the Premiership for next season by the slightest of margins.

The Chilli Boys ended their season in 14th-placed, equal on points with 15th-placed Maritzburg United but had a slightly better goal difference.

Arrows, meanwhile, ended their campaign in ninth spot and missed out on the top eight by two points.

Sekhukhune United 1-0 SuperSport United

SuperSport United had to settle for a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup after they were edged 1-0 by Sekhukhune United at Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Edwin Gyimah gave Sekhukhune the lead on 19 minutes with a header in the box from a cross by Thamsanqa Masiya following a set-piece situation and that was enough to give Sekhukhune the maximum points that sealed a spot in the top eight.

Babina Noko ended their season in seventh spot while United finished in third place.

Stellenbosch 2-1 TS Galaxy

Stellenbosch secured a top eight spot after edging TS Galaxy 2-1 at the Danie Craven Stadium.

Devon Titus opened the scoring for Stellies on 16 minutes with a strike from a rebound after a free-kick by Fawaaz Basadien.

Lindokuhle Mbatha found the equaliser for the Rockets early in the second stanza after he was setup by Bernard Parker from a counter-attack.

However, Junior Mendieta restored the lead for Steve Barker's charges just from the restart with a header from a cross by Basadien.

Stellies finished their season in sixth place on the standings while the Rockets ended up in tenth.

Richards Bay 0-0 Royal AM

Royal AM could not qualify for a spot in the top eight after a scoreless draw against Richards Bay at King Zwelithini Stadium.

After a goalless first stanza, Richards Bay were down to ten men after Sanele Barns was red-carded for violent conduct.

Thwihli Thwahla could not capitalize, as the Natal Rich Boys held on to a vital point that halted their three-game losing run.

Royal AM finished their season in 11th spot on the table while Richards Bay ended up in 13th place.
