Richards Bay FC and TS Galaxy settled for a share of the spoils after playing a goalless draw on Saturday evening.

Alterations from the Natal Rich Boys following their 3-0 drubbing against Chippa United had Salim Magoola, Austin Dube, Yanela Mbuthuma and Thabani Gumede come in the starting stall.

The Rockets who were supposed to take the field in midweek, were unable to do so after an accident on the road forced the league to postpone their tie with Mamelodi Sundowns.

Richards Bay did take the field on Wednesday and continued to find the going as Chippa United put in three unanswered strikes to leave them in the bottom-two.

With the clash very even, the Rockets threw on a substitution two minutes past the half-hour mark when Higor Vidal made way for Mlungisi Mbunjana.

There were no goals that came the way from any side in the first period and therefore saw the first half conclude score-less.

Ahead of the second half, the Rockets presented yet another substitution which had Sphiwe Mahlangu stepped on for veteran Lindokuhle Mbatha.

Very little in so far as activity in the final third came despite a triple change from the Natal Rich Boys in Moses Mthembu, Thabang Rakwena and Somila Ntsundwana.

Both teams continued to battle away as the match flew by with no decent ventures on goal and pretty much left the contest balanced.

Thus, it finished all square and left the Natal Rich Boys yet to record a league win in this calendar year as well as in the relegation zone.

Confirmed line-ups:

Richards Bay: Magoola, Mabuya, Mabua, Dube, Mncineka, Malepe, Figareido, Dlamini, Mbuthuma, Barns, Gumede

Subs: Malcom, Mthethwa, Ndaba, Mthembu, Myaba, Komane, Ntsundwana, Mhlongo, Mabaso

TS Galaxy: TBANtwari, Mvelase, Munyai, Sanoka, Mahlangu, Khiba, Letsoenyo, Mbatha, Vidal, Mojela, Sebelebel

Subs: Kolak, Seema, Radebe
