Cape Town Spurs CEO Alexi Efstathiou has provided an update on Orlando Pirates loanee Boitumelo Radiopane's situation at the club.

The 21-year-old striker is currently recovering from the injury that has kept him sidelined for the entire season so far.

Radiopane's loan deal is until the end of the current season, and Efstathiou says the Urban Warriors are in no rush to discuss an extension with his parent club the Buccaneers.

"Radiope is coming back, that's going to be like a new signing to us," Efstathiou tells KickOff.

"Remember he is still coming back from that original injury.

"He is a very dedicated player and he does his rehab properly. I think he's months ahead of his schedule. He is training with the team already.

"Look, there's always a player that does well in one club and not so well in the other club.

"I don't know, maybe the environment is different, but it often happens like that.

"Here he is on loan until the end of the season, but it's too far away now to start discussing that. The next six months are important."

The Urban Warriors currently sit bottom on the DStv Premiership title, having only collected four points in the 16 league matches this campaign.
