SAFA's review committee has come to a decision on MTN8 final referee Abongile Tom after a number of contentious decisions as Orlando Pirates defended their top-eight crown.

According to SAFA head of referees Abdul Ebrahim, it is business as usual for Tom, who will continue officiating Premier Soccer League matches.

"Well, people will always have their opinion, but I haven't received anything from the review committee," Abdul tells KickOff.

"Look, it is what it is, there is nothing I can do about it.

"I have not received anything negative from the Review committee.

"This means they didn't find any issue about that game."

With the Carling Knockout fixture in full swing this weekend Tom is expected to be in action.

On Friday Pirates host Cape Town Spurs in what promises to be an easy fixture for the Soweto Giants.

Spurs are still looking for their first win of the season.
