Orlando Pirates midfielder Ndabayithethwa Phillip Ndlondlo hailed the youngsters from DStv Diski Challenge for their brave performance during the Carling Cup match on Saturday.

All Stars were crowned as Black Label Cup champions after beating Stellenbosch FC  2-0 during an exciting match played at the Peter Mokaba stadium on Saturday.

The team was made up of players from both DStv Premiership and DDC teams.

Youngster Mfundo Vilakazi and Ashely Du Preez both from Kaizer Chiefs scored the goals for the Jose Riveiro-led side to claim the R2 million prize plus the trophy.

Vilakazi, Jabulani Mokone, and Kagiso Mnguni are among the players from DDC who displayed great performance during the Cup match in Polokwane on Saturday and Ndlondlo could not hold his excitement about the youngsters good showing at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

"Our future generation is in good hands because what is saw with the guys I played with from DDC  there is too much potential and too talent from those guys”, said Ndlondlo.

"One thing I liked about them is their willingness to listen to someone else's telling them.

"This is one of the things that can help them to become better because if you have the willingness to learn from someone who has been in the game you can learn (a lot ) as well and I think that is what impressed me about them.

"Our future generation is in good hands”. he added.

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper and captain of the day Itumeleng Khune was voted as man of the match during the Black Label Cup tournament in Polokwane on Saturday.
