Head coach Desiree Ellis says Banyana Banyana will throw everything at Nigeria as the two African powerhouses go head to head for a spot at the 2024 Olympics.

Having lost the first leg 1-0 in Abuja Nigeria, Ellis’ troops will have a mountain to climb when they take on The Super Falcons at Loftus Stadium on Tuesday evening in a bid to overturn the deficit and book their ticket to next year’s Olympics in Paris.

Speaking to SAFA media ahead of the titanic encounter, Ellis admitted that the time for 'second guessing' is over and that her side would have to leave it all on the pitch.

"We wanted to get a positive result you know in Nigeria, that didn't happen but I thought we played better in the second half than what we did in the first half.

"If we can build on that but we know we are both playing teams and we created some opportunities in Nigeria we all know it's a big match, and we all know that the winner over the two legs ultimately goes to the Olympics and we want to be on the plane.

"So for us it's a game where we have to put everything in, there are no second guesses, there's no second chances.

"It's a game where we have to score and try and get back the goal as early as we can, but we know we're coming up against a team that is leading 1-0 and we need to be ready for every eventuality in the way we think they might play.

"So, we have to be ready, for that but it’s a do-or-die match, and there's no second chance and we have to just go for it.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 19:30.
