Former Bafana Bafana striker Marks Maponyane is not confident about the national team's chances of winning the Africa cup of Nations.
The Kaizer Chiefs legend says only a win against Namibia will keep Bafana in the tournament that is currently taking place in Ivory Coast.
"You have the Hanamub, Peter Shalulile, Deon Hotto and the rest who are playing in South Africa, so if they beat us it will mean they are better than us," Maponyane tells KickOff.

"This match against Namibia is one game South Africa cannot afford to lose, if they lose this one they are out.
"Namibians are free-flowing, they want to play with pace, and suddenly Hotto fits in that pace.
"At Pirates, he could be a bit sluggish, hold those lines, and whip in those crosses. He was a nuisance against Tunisia.
"Now we have to deal with that, and with what I saw with Siyanda Xulu against Mali, how are we going to stop Namibia if they come at us with pace?
"We couldn't sustain the second half in the first game, can we sustain it after four days?
"Are we winning or not on Sunday? It will depend on how we define the pace of the Namibians.
"As for Bafana going all the way, no I'm not confident. Let's be honest with ourselves.
"The thing is we don't have this series of appearances in the AFCON. Very few of our players have been in the AFCON before. The non-continuous appearance affects us."
