The central midfielder who departed Platinum City in January this year is currently a free agent and opened up about his career highlights on the Bettor Podcast.

Although he has not yet retired from the beautiful game, Manyisa can look back on a career that is filled with many good memories and plenty of silverware.

The midfielder has won five DStv Premiership titles, two with Orlando Pirates and three with Mamelodi Sundowns. He was also part of the iconic Buccaneers squad that won three major trophies in back to back seasons — the famous double treble.

In total, his lists of team achievements include five league titles, two MTN8 cups, and a Telkom Knockout, according to Transfermarkt

When asked what his five career highlights were, the former Downs star took viewers back to when he first joined the Soweto giants.

"Signing for Pirates, being the captain of the team, winning the trophies, the double treble, and being called for Bafana Bafana," Manyisa said on the Bettor Podcast.

When asked who he would play in midfield between himself and Andile Jali or Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta, he backed himself and Jali to the job of running the central area of the pitch.

The 35-year-old was also asked if he would ever trade the double treble for a FIFA World Cup title, to which he replied: "Nah, I wouldn't."

It shows how dearly he holds the special achievement with his former club in his heart.
