The story
The South African football fraternity was left with many questions after the SAFA headquarters were raided by the Hawks on Friday over allegations of fraud amounting to R1.3 million.
At the heart of the investigation is Jordaan, who is alleged to have used SAFA resources for his personal gain and breached the organisation’s statutes.
With the investigation still ongoing, Mama Joy was quick to come to Jordaan’s defence, taking to social media to say “Hands off Dr. Jordaan.”

On Sunday, she would go on write on X: Please my president Dr Jordaan, don’t even think of resigning. Finish your term with dignity and thanks for reviving Bafana and Banyana. Please don’t go."
This has upset many people on Twitter, with some even calling for to be stripped of her privileges of being a super fan, as she and Botha Msila were recently reported to have benefitted to the tune of R1.3 million in costs for their trip to France for the 2023 Rugby World Cup, according to IOL.
Mama Joy should not mistake our support for her for influence. She should immediately stop tweeting, "Hands off Danny Jordan here". If she continues, our attention may shift to her activities and funding, which we have deliberately ignored, by the way.
