A video of Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma is doing the rounds online, with the Amakhosi star seen dishing out a little warning to a naughty ball boy.

The story

Chiefs slumped their 10th defeat of the 2023/24 DStv Premiership season after losing 1-0 to Richards Bay on Sunday. Worryingly, the club have more defeats than victories this time, as they've only managed to take all three points on eight occasions this term.

This sees them occupy 10th spot on the table, with qualification for next season's MTN8 now looking in danger.

Frustrations on Sunday reached a boiling point, for Bvuma at least, as the goalkeeper lost patience with the one of the ball boys during the match.

In the video, the Chiefs no.1 is seen trying to take a quick goal-kick in the 87th minute while his side are chasing an equaliser. However, the ball boy looked to be trying to eat up every second, as he proceeded to run with the ball in his hand behind the goal posts instead of just throwing the ball to the keeper.

Bvuma then proceeded to chase the young man who then eventually threw the ball on the ground before jumping over the advertising boards. Supporters have suggested that the goalkeeper said "Ke tla o tlapa" which translate to "I will slap you." but it remains unknown what was ssaid.

Many were left amused by this little interaction but some also rightfully called out the behaviour of the ball boy.

There's been a couple of incident involving ball boys this season, with one of them having led to Orlando Pirates star Thabang Monare being sent off earlier this season in a clash against Richards Bay as well at the King Zwelithini Stadium.

Time wasting is a punishable offence for players and perhaps a similar line of action should be taken towards the ball boys as well.
