Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos admitted after Bafana Bafana's goalless draw against Namibia that he was left slightly disappointed with the poor turnout of supporters at the Orlando Stadium.
Despite being unbeaten in their last eight matches, Broos' Bafana are still struggling to pull crowds on a consistent basis, managing to only attract less than 10 000 to their Saturday clash eSgodini.
Broos says he wants his charges to play every game in a full stadium and says although their recent results have been good, they need to do more to attract supporters back to the stadiums.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Broos addresses lack of supporters at Bafana matches" story:
"For friendlies, make sure you select Chiefs players, then you will see a bigger following, their fans are very loyal to their players," says Zam d king Buccaneer.
"We are working tirelessly for our hard earned cash. I will rather watch the Mighty Downs instead of your Bafana Bafana games. We are not getting paid to sit in the boardroom," says ngwanamoshate.70.
"He said our Chiefs team is useless. He must go watch his Bafana with fans from his useful teams," says Legend CRM083.
"It’s going to be tough with supporters, the team that has the biggest following in the land has no players in the squad and he insulted them," says sizweking.
"But truth be told, they don't deserve to be in the national team," replies Saavedra.
"He bit the hand that feeds him, talking down other teams and consistently doing so," says erasebeka.

"I think whoever is advising Mavuso is spot on. The coach might be released and the new coach might like and field the player. These things happen everywhere," says thulamda.
