Having retired a little over a decade ago, you would be forgiven for not knowing what former striker Nkosinathi Nhleko does for a living now. Here's a look at what the Jomo Cosmos alumni is all about!

The story

A product of Jomo Cosmos's star-studded alumni, which includes the likes of Aaron Mokoena, Phil Masinga, and Reneilwe Letsholonyane among many others, the former centre-forward also made his breakthrough under the tutelage of Jomo Sono.

The now 43-year-old had somewhat of a meteoric rise, as he instantly earned a move overseas in 2002 following his breakthrough for Ezenkosi. He joined Norwegian outfit Brann that year and he was sent out on loan to United States outfit FC Dallas the following season before he joining the Major League Soccer outfit on a permanent deal just a few seasons later.

His stint in Texas would not last though, as he returned to Cosmos after making only 34 appearances for Dallas, where he scored eight times and assisted a further five goals, per Transfermarkt.

The Ermelo-born man would once again return to Europe for stints in Sweden and Norway again before finishing his career at Kazier Chiefs in 2011.

Nowadays, you're likely to find in wearing a suit in corporate space or bump into while wearing a workman's helmet, as he is involved in the transportation of minerals. The former talisman runs a company called Nhleko & Associates, which is based Brakpan, according to their official website.

It appears that Nhleko owns a number of massive trucks, as his company "provides the hauling of bulk goods such as coal, chrome, and other related mining minerals.” It is now fair to say that Toni is now a businessman!
