CLUB INFORMATION

Paraguay will be heading to their fourth World Cup finals in a row and they certainly booked their place in style, at one time leading the South American qualifying.

Most of their top players ply their trade in Europe and they will be tricky opposition in South Africa, but the feeling may also be that they are there for the taking having failed to get past the second round in their seven previous tournaments.

They did manage to win a silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Games, with many of the current crop of players having helped the side to that international success.
