CLUB INFORMATION

North Korea's finest hour on the global stage came in their one and only previous World Cup appearance when they reached the quarterfinals in England in 1966.

Along the way they beat Italy and were 3-0 up against Portugal in that quarterfinal match, before a Eusébio-inspired comeback saw the European side run out 5-3 winners.

Not much is expected of North Korea this time out, but they will at least be an unknown quantity to many, with all of their players plying their trade int he domestic league.
