CLUB INFORMATION

The Danes will be appearing in their third World Cup out of the last four having qualified in dominant fashion from a tough group that also included Portugal, Sweden and an improving Hungary outfit.

The country's finest moment came in 1992 when they were crowned European champions after being dragged off the beach while on their summer holidays as late replacement at the tournament for the former Yugoslavia.

Although not packed with household names, they play well as a unit and have that Scandinavian organisation and precision to their play that makes them a match for anybody.
