Zamalek sack MichelZamalek sack MichelPosted: 2009-11-30 12:48 Zamalek have sacked former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Henri Michel after just seven matches in charge following the White Knight's 2-0 defeat to Police Union in the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday. It was a fourth defeat for the Cairo giants under Michel, having also gained two wins and a draw, and they are lying in 10th place in the League table, a massive 15 points behind leaders Al Ahly with just 10 games gone.“We were facing the same problems in each match; we control the game and get a number of scoring chances but we always fail to translate our dominance into goals,” Michel said after the latest defeat. The French coach, who has also taken charge of the national teams of France, Cameroon and Morocco in a nomadic career, was ousted from his second job this year, having also been given the boot at Sundowns in March.
